The silence of noise, the most terrible loneliness

Painting by Laura Tedeschi

Unfortunate Milan's children, so fragile, so unhappy,
unfortunate Milan's children, also robbed of hope,
sad Milan's children, with handkerchiefs as gardens,

unfortunate Milan's children with the horizon always covered,
thirst for freedom forced to live in the desert.
unfortunate Milan's children with the most terrible loneliness,
the silence of the noise.
Unfortunate Milan's children, children of worrying fathers

Unfortunate Milan's children, how many minutes,
travelers of fixed destinations, spectators always sit ...

from: "Poveri bimbi di MIlano" Francesco Guccini

sei terribilmente espressiva

grazie mille cara Elvi

Powerful and colourful portrait Laura, I love it.
All the best.

and then there is the noise of silence, as well. odd how they both speak lonliness.

your painting speaks something more sad than this though. those are harrowing eyes, ones nothing can sooth, i think. no easy answers.

Dear Laura,
Although the poem is so sad, the painting sends me something very strong and resilient like a flower never bends in rain fall. Especially, the contrast of colors is salient. The eyes imply me hope.
Kind regards, Sadami

Tu sei sempre superlativa!! Un caro e grande saluto.
