Hi Monika! ... yes you are right Tolouse Lautrec painted many view of Circus... yes you are really right, I never tought about this before... but the colours are simil too..
i was just saying to erin one of the things i love about you is that you have shown me so many wonderful artists. along with your amazing work i am here again.
thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge and your beautiful work Laura.
Laura, this makes me smile - because it is a great tribute to a great artist! But also, this week I have been doing some photo shoots using two black chairs and a carnival mask! It seems we have been thinking the same thoughts...I guess when I post some of the results, they will have to be described as MY tribute to the great artist Laura Tedeschi!
Those paintings are stunning... the faces look like masks. Thanks for sharing! Also thanks for your comments, glad you like the picture :-) Have a great weekend.

I can see where you were inspired with your shot. Startling, enigmatic, frightening and fun. A bag of juxtaposing forces. Wonderful, Laura.

Thank you, really thank you to all my dear friends!!!
Great post! I just LOVE the art by Ensor. Your photograph is as great also!
Ho Laura! How did I miss this? I will go and google gagah these images.
Your photo is wonderful the soft blur and the sepia all add to that strange surreal and very odd wary feeling these heads give off.
For me they are not masks, but real.
